Summer Program 2015

The summer period is generally dull and uneventful as far as IEEE DTU is concerned, but in past year a learning step was taken in a new direction by introducing the IEEE DTU Summer Programme. Continuing on the initiative Summer Programme'15 was organized which consisted of a host of technical projects for students to work on and sharpen their skills. The projects ranged from simple ones designed for hobbyists to the more complicated ones and weren’t limited to electronic fields of interest though. There were opportunities to work on ones in graphical, web designing, software development and algorithm designing. The deadlines for all projects ranged from thirty to sixty days and a certificate was awarded upon the completion of the projects.

This year, the name given to IEEE DTU’s annual ‘Fuchcha’ Event was Coherence. It was an event organized solely by the ‘fuchchas’ i.e. the first years. It was a two day event held on 8 and 9 April and consisted of 4 events covering both, tech and non tech domains. All the sub-events under Coherence witnessed excellent participation and the event was a huge success. The ‘fuchchas’ were congratulated by all for putting up a great show! The sub-event organized under it were Enigma, Circuit Breaker, Funtasy and Flabbergast.
